Counseling

I know from personal experience what it can feel like to be frustrated and desperate for change but not know where to start. That first step can feel so overwhelming. My heart’s desire is to walk alongside you as we learn together how to begin the healing process. I love working with individuals and couples through all stages of their relationship: dating, premarital counseling, and marital counseling. I have experience working with those who suffer from depression, anxiety, addictions, and more. My passion is to help people dig deeper to create understanding of themselves and their pain while helping to identify what may be getting in the way of finding fulfillment in their life and relationships. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment to do the work of healing in your personal life, as well as intimate relationships.

Premarital Therapy – A couple sits closely on a light-colored sofa, sharing a joyful moment. The man, wearing a denim shirt, and the woman, in a pink top, are both laughing, exuding warmth and happiness. The background features a softly textured white brick wall, adding a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The image uses soft, diffused lighting, highlighting the couple’s expressions. The composition captures them from a close side angle, focusing on their connection and the warmth of their interaction, creating a genuine, uplifting mood.

Premarital Therapy

Premarital Therapy is a great way to get your marriage started on the right foot and be able to gain a deeper understanding of not only yourself but your partner as well. Together we can build a plan for topics to cover such as finances, communication skills, children, religion, extended family, and more.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a great space to have one-on-one support. During this time, a combination of modalities will be used, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

Individual therapy, also called talk therapy, can help sort out feelings, behaviors, and thought patterns over a variety of topics such as anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, etc.

Together we can set goals to help you feel better and live a happier, healthier life.

Individual Counseling – A woman’s hands are clasped together, resting on her lap, adorned with a minimalist bracelet. Her floral-patterned skirt suggests a bohemian style. The background is softly blurred with warm, diffused lighting, creating a serene and introspective atmosphere. The perspective is close-up, focusing on the hands and a hint of her flowing hair, with the gentle color palette enhancing the calm mood.
Couples Therapy – Two hands, both wearing wedding rings, gently touch on a light-colored couch cushion, suggesting a sense of connection and tenderness. The hands belong to individuals wearing long sleeves; one is a white sleeve, the other a dark-colored one. The background is a soft, off-white upholstered surface, contributing to a serene and intimate setting. The lighting is soft and neutral, enhancing the gentle atmosphere. The composition centers on the hands from a straight-on perspective, capturing a moment of intimacy and warmth.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy, also known as marriage therapy, can be beneficial for couples at any stage—whether dating, engaged, or married. Relationships aren’t always easy, and sometimes having a professional guide you through conflict resolution is essential.

Just like individual therapy, couples counseling incorporates various approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, to support healthier communication and emotional connection.

If you’re looking for a Knoxville marriage counselor, couples therapy can help address concerns such as communication issues, intimacy, parenting/blended families, infidelity, and more. Whether you’re seeking premarital counseling near you or guidance to strengthen your relationship, this space provides a nonjudgmental environment for growth.
